O’Fallon, Missouri, is home to one of the largest holiday light displays in the Midwest. In 2006, Bob Ross began synchronizing the Christmas lights to music. Each year, he reworks the designs and includes themes that are representative of the St. Louis sports teams. You can find out more about the Christmas lights by checking out the website or Facebook page.

O’Fallon’s largest holiday light display

One of the best ways to enjoy the holiday season is to drive through O’Fallon’s annual Celebration of Lights. Since 1991, the display has become a popular destination for holiday lovers. Located at Fort Zumwalt Park, this event is a collaboration of local churches, organizations, and businesses. The displays include scenes from holiday movies and a tunnel of lights.

O’Fallon’s Celebration of Lights traditionally opens on the Friday after Thanksgiving and closes on the last day of December. The display is open from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. daily, with extended hours on weekends. Admission is $10 per car. Tuesdays are a half-priced night for adults. Visitors can also receive $1 off their admission with a food pantry donation.

Installation process

Whether you are putting up a string of lights or putting up a full tree, there are some things to keep in mind before you start hanging holiday decor. Choosing to install holiday lights early does not mean that you should turn them on early! You should wait until the end of the season, after all, to enjoy your display.

Cost

One of the most popular holiday attractions is O’Fallon’s Celebration of Lights. The event is held nightly and is sponsored by local businesses and churches. Tickets to see the lights cost about $12 for cars and $20 for vans and buses. The lights are arranged in scenes from classic holiday movies. There is a tunnel that you can drive through, and the display is a great way to enjoy the holiday season in this small Missouri town.

The Celebration of Lights in O’Fallon is a popular holiday tradition for residents and visitors from the Midwest. In addition, Zoo Lights at the Saint Louis Zoo and Old-Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City are also popular events in the area. Visitors can also view lighted animals, elves, and Santa during the O’Fallon Christmas lights display.
