How to Make Furniture from Pallets

The treatment involved placing them in a kiln for half an hour. This particular procedure makes pallet slats labeled HT good for your health. 

Step 1: Gather Materials

Pallet slats are either treated using methyl bromide (a hazardous chemical associated with human health problems and ozone layer depletion) or heat-treated.
