About the Author
Barbara Beck is a licensed architect who lives in Annapolis, Maryland. She shares her studio and home overlooking the Chesapeake Bay with her husband, Rick, and her Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, Tommy. Originally from St. Louis, Barbara grew up drawing animals and houses, so it was only logical she would become an architect or a veterinarian. She chose architecture, earning her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas.
