Vitruvian Lights at Vitruvian Park
Vitruvian Park is a multifamily and retail development in Addison, Texas. It is situated approximately one mile north of I-635/LBJ Freeway, between Midway Road and Marsh Lane. It is located in the southwest quadrant of the city. It is home to many stores, restaurants, and other attractions.
For the holiday season, Vitruvian Park is transformed into a mystical holiday wonderland. The lights are on every day from five p.m. until 11 p.m., and the park’s festive events are free to enjoy. Visitors can also enjoy holiday treats, sweet treats, and free pictures with Santa. There are also holiday characters and a balloon artist to meet.
The Vitruvian Lights event takes place in Vitruvian Park every year, and this year it’s back! This event features 1.5 million LED lights wrapped around the trees to create an enchanting winter wonderland. The holiday lights will be on nightly through Jan. 2, and parking is available at the Bella Lane parking lot, Park Road Parking Lot, and Ponte Avenue Parking Lot.

Vitruvian Lights is one of the most popular activities during the holiday season. This iconic light show features 1.5 million LED lights on 555 trees. The festival takes place daily from 5pm to midnight, and is free to attend. Visitors will be able to see classic holiday characters and enjoy free food and drink.
Magical Winter Lights at Lone Star Park
If you’re looking for a family-friendly holiday attraction, the Magical Winter Lights at Lone Star park in Dallas is a great place to go. This festive festival will take your breath away with its colorful light displays and themed sections. There are five rides to enjoy, as well as dinosaur exhibits and daily acrobatic performances. It will also include food, carnival rides, and live entertainment.
Lone Star Lights will bring the holiday spirit to 17 acres of park property, complete with interactive activities for the entire family. Guests will also be able to enjoy the petting farm and trail rides for the younger set. Families can also take a spin on the Arctic Adventures, which includes zip lines and aerial elements. A few of the attractions will also feature local food and retail vendors.
The festival’s lanterns are larger than life replicas of local landmarks, adapted from traditional chinese lantern construction methods. Several themed sections are also available, such as the Dallas County Courthouse, a giant cowboy, and Dallas’ iconic Pegasus.
If you want to stay overnight, you can rent a cabin for the evening. Lone Star Park offers several lodging options, including private lodge rooms, full family cabins, and bunk-style group cabins. All cabins are equipped with fireplaces. You can spend the night under the stars, enjoying the magic of Christmas.
Daystar Christmas at Daystar Television Network
Every year, the Daystar Television Network presents Daystar Christmas, an incredible holiday light display. The display includes a life-size Nativity, over one million lights, a kid-friendly Christmas town and a drive-through tunnel. Visitors can also take a photo with Santa Claus and enjoy a special reading of the Christmas Story. The display is free to enjoy for the entire family.
The Daystar Christmas Lights are a 950-foot tunnel of lights, a kid-friendly town, interactive displays and a nine-foot lighted wreath. There is even a Scratch Cafe with hot chocolate! The display is open every night from November 28 to January 5, and admission is free. Be aware that it may get crowded on weekends, so it is advisable to visit later in the evening.
The entrance to the Daystar property features a life-size Nativity scene, one of the only ones open to the public in the DFW area. The life-sized manger is flanked by life-sized animals, and it makes a great location for a family Christmas card photo. The Christmas tree also has a bench for a family photo.
